This piece is a still life of a bunch of flowers I once bought and photographed in a couple dozen positions under a desk lamp. I just about hate this piece though; not because its a bad painting or anything, just that it took me well over 50 hours to complete with all of its tiny details!

Done by hand with PS CS4 and wacom tablet

This is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous! I am in love with the warm, delicate, RICH colors! Something about it has a very pleasant, royal, majestic quality to it. Haha, I don't know. Maybe it's the subject matter or the use of vibrant red/pink colors. Anyways, I love the texture of the petals - very lovely. Great techniques and realistic style overall. I wish I could look at something like this every day!

That's some higher level shit right there. I thought this was a photograph! (You probably get that a lot...)
Excellent detail in the flowers. I love how I can see every petal. The shading of the leaves is very well done, too. They have that shininess they should have. (Hope that makes sense.)
I love the colors. The colors of the flowers work well together and with the drape and background.
The only thing I feel I should mention is the drape seems not quite up to par with the flowers. I think it is because the focus is so sharp and clear on the flowers. It's not that it is a bad thing. It just sticks out to me because the flowers are so well done. The drape just overall seems hazy may be in need of some more shadow.
